Atlanta, GA – August 14, 2017 – The National Diversity Coalition for Trump (NDC Trump) unequivocally denounces the groups and supporters involved in the violence and hate displayed in Charlottesville. We stand behind President Trump and his statement that “We ALL must be united & condemn all that hate stands for. There is no place for this kind of violence in America. Let’s come together as one!”.
Dr. Darrell Scott, CEO and Co-founder, tweeted: “NDC Trump emphatically denounces the divisive destructive activity in VA., & every group or person that supports, endorses, or engages in it”.
Michael Cohen, Co-founder and Chair, has stated: “As the son of a Holocaust survivor and co creator along with Pastor Darrell Scott of the National Diversity Coalition for Trump, we are outraged and disgusted with what is occurring right now in Charlottesville. As a group that consists of millions of Americans of different races, religions, creeds and color – – these actions will not go unnoticed. The coalition stands with and supports the President’s message condemning these individuals and what they stand for.” The Coalition stands firm in our defense of President Trump and against the unfounded accusations of racism from those seeking to put the blame for these events on our President.
President Trump has spoken out in support of ALL Americans while explicitly denouncing ALL groups whose aim is to divide our country through hate and fear. President Trump was elected by individuals of all races, religions and cultures who want a President that stands up for the forgotten and is not afraid to call out those that try to further the division that has been brewing in our country well before he came into office.
